So, out of request from a friend, I put up pictures from my first baskets that I made in a basket class. I went to the class a couple of Saturdays ago. It was fun. The baskets we made were for breads. I opt to put fruit in mine :) Just because I can!! :) It was made from some ragweed stuff and other stuff I have no idea what it is..LOL. enjoy!

Lol, Nina you're too funny. The frame of the basket is Grapevine and Reed, and the filler is a material called Seagrass. (The major chunk of the basket is the seagrass.. the colored portion on the ends is dyed reed)

Now you know all the technical terms.

I'm LOVING how well the basket matches the colors in your house. It looks awesome. you did a great job with it and I'm so glad you decided to keep it.

Nice basket!!! I finally made it around to your blog...you were probably wondering when that was going to happen right?!!! LOL! I still love the colors in you basket. Makes me want to vacation at a beach somewhere!!!

hehe..thanks. i'm planning on putting it out at our close in porch. i already have a idea what kind of theme and colors for it!
